This laboratory is conducted in combination with the theory. It is the introduction to flow behavior, fluid forces, and analytical tools. The experiments aim to determine strengths produced by the liquid flow over a strong object, to implement the flow-control strategy, to show the strength, and to measure the viscosity and the technological correlations. Experiments are conducted such as flowing through a pipe, open flow channels, hydraulic power, turbine, and pumps. The laboratory works closely with the lectures so that the text covered in the classroom supports experiments.
The goal of this laboratory is to provide a through understanding of thermal engineering. The laboratory is well furnished and allows students to realize the fundamental design of two and four-stroke diesel engines as well as petrol engines. The machines and equipment used to determine experimental data include cut models of 4stroke diesel engine, 2stroke petrol engine, 4stroke, and two-stroke petrol engines with required specifications, Multi-cylinder SI engine, Single cylinder Diesel engine for performance and speed test which is suitable to tests on variable compression ratios.
The principle objective of the laboratory is to be familiarizing in CNC part programming techniques with high-quality Industrial software. Students will become familiar with the programming of CNC for various operations. A course /laboratory in the CIM system at SRIPC provides industrial level training in an educational environment. They can easily understand the G-Code & M-Code.
The aim of the strength of material laboratory is demonstrate to the students through a number of experiments the basic principles of simulation and analysis of materials. The studies are carried out in this laboratory to evaluate material characteristics such as impact strength, tensile strength, resistance, hardness, ductility etc. They can easily find out the behavior of materials.
Students get to know how to operate and use the machines properly in Industries. The Lathe & Drilling is a leading machine in every industry. The main objective is to remove material by way of such a cutting tool from the work piece. It also used in manufacturing units for many Operations.
The aim of the foundry lab is to gather knowledge to produce a new material by metal castings. Metals are cast into shapes by melting them into a liquid, pouring the metal into a mold, and removing the mold material after the metal has solidified as it cools. In this process, parts of desired shapes and sizes can be formed. And joining of metals can be done by welding. Students get hands on training with safety precautions.
Metrology is the science of measurements. Students will get a hands-on training on using different measuring tools and analysis of microstructure of materils using microscope.
